Today's word is "wayfarer" ... A traveler, especially on foot.

Class to class, video to video,
conversation to conversation,
book to book. The path from
one idea to another is seldom
straight. And the side-roads
are many. And every opinion
is tainted by preconceptions.
Bias is everywhere. How to
get to the Truth is a battle.
Tired wayfarers who refuse
to give up until understanding
breaks through must be
tenacious. They must weigh
this concept, that perception,
who it is who speaks.
No wonder some stop
thinking. Bread and theater
seem to fill a life full.
