Contiguous

Today's word is "contiguous" ... (kuhn-TIG-yoo-uhs), touching; in contact. (Dictionary.com)

Gone
The greatest mystery of our time,
A plane that's lost without a ryhme
Or reason, to a land or sea unknown,
Untouched by radar, radio or phone.

We wait for news of those aboard,
With those who love them and adore,
Our prayers contiguous in their power,
Fly 'round the world this solemn hour.

If will could cause them to appear,
They'd come forth in moments, mere,
And joy would overwhelm us all,
With bright sounds and happy call.

But, now anxiety holds sway,
We hold our breath for one more day,
Until we hear truth in our ears,
We'll be held captive by our fear.
