Panacea

Today's word is "panacea" ... A cure-all. (Dictionary.com)

Better
Sometimes I wish for one big thing,
To bring us peace and light,
Chase the darkness far away,
Despite love's requite.

That this panacea could come from man,
Is not something to expect,
We've proven to ourselves enough,
All that we touch gets wrecked.

But by God's grace there's more to see,
Than what meets the eye,
With faith in him, the impossible becomes,
Reasonable and wise.
