Ah! Such a night of clinquancy!
Celebrations chase each other 'round,
     one zone to the next.
You can almost hear the gleeful
     shouting wend it's windy way ...
          passed on by some 
          prearranged signal ...
Like the ticking of a clock. 

The revelers amass and retreat,
     as time tracks on relentlessly.

Make merry then! The moments will
     come and go. Ours is to celebrate
          while we can. Ring in each breath 
               in praise of life.
