Triumverate

Shake
Some disasters, it is said,
are more triumphant than
victories. It did not seem that way
when a triumvirate of crosses
appeared up on a hill ... two
Thieves bracketing a savior.
Of course, in those moments
Then, the earth shook as if
it would break open in its pain,
But, if anyone could have seen into the future,
they would have known all earthly
suppositions turned upside down.
And all the victories realized up 'till then, 
would indeed pale against the reality of that
that pain-filled interval.
