Today's word is "yaff" ... Scot. And North England. to bark; yelp.
Hello
We were gathered all around,
Friends, relatives and dogs,
There was talking and much yaffing,
As we settled down.
On each other we'd not laid eyes,
For weeks or months or years,
But as we laughed together,
We realized common ties.
Time cannot erase affection,
It endures through separation,
When desire is real amd moves,
Our hearts in love's direction.
