Today's word is "mistral" MIS-truhl ... a cold, dry, northerly wind common in southern France and neighboring regions. (dictionary.com)
Blow
I just do not want to think,
About the winter coming,
The mistral blowing,
Endless snowing,
Finding something warm to drink.
I do not want to think of cold,
Or cars slipping and sliding,
The skiers gliding,
Me in hiding,
Feeling very less than bold.
But it's still off a month or so,
Day and darkness mingling,
Harness bells jingling,
Harness bells jingling,
My toes tingling,
Watching winter's slog, so slow.
