Unmasked
He fell, far,
from heaven's height.
And gained (he thinks)
a kingdom of his own.
He uses us to prove his skills,
long practiced.
The greatest mytomane of all ...
a true original ...
Except the truest form of flattery,
and all that.
He cannot but appear a pathetic
inversion of the Glory he once knew.
