If I knew the ways of science,
And the ways of God,
And had the love of friend
And foe and could use a fishing rod;
If I was strong and fast and true
And could run a marathon, if
I could sing engagingly,
So that I'd be gazed upon;
If things came a skosh more easily,
And no doubts upon me called,
Then maybe I would fathom
The wheres and whys of all.
