Hibernaculum

Today's word is "hibernaculum" ... Winter quarters, as of a hibernating animal.

In the shadows of a darkened world,
pockets of light shine softly.
If you walk carefully, step by step,
you may notice their glow.
Over rocks and snowfall,
tiptoeing through fog and smoke,
you might hear a sound, a voice say,
"Come and see. "

If you are brave enough to find your way,
you will find the warmth, like fire.
But it will not burn, only calm.
In this hibernaculum, you will
find safety. Something like a home
that you've always longed for,
but were not sure existed.
