Today's word is "abiogenisis" ... Biology: the now discredited theory that living organisims can arise spontaneously from inanimate matter. Spontaneous generation.
How
We're back to the beginning again,
where the first days have just begun,
either by the hand of God,
or by some accidental process of
nature. Abiogenisis seems
the more improbable ... that
from a random stock of chemicals
stirred by a nameless force,
fed into time, an intelligence
would appear to rule the earth.
If the mindless created mind,
it would be a rare accident indeed,
the odds ratcheting into infinity.
On the other hand ...
