Pari Passu

Today’s word pari passu:  "simultaneously" or "with equal step."

Together

If you travel solitarily,
Along this road of life quite merrily,
You might be missing something true,
Ignoring what’s pari passu.

When we’re traveling together,
Nothing matters … not the weather,
Nor terrain or scary things,
Nothing that the road may bring.

With others there to hold your hand,
Wipe your tears, say you’re grand,
Make sure you’re fed and have clean feet,
Your strengths combined make you complete.

We’re meant to live as sons and daughters,
Of the One who is our father,
It’s his grace that makes us see,
That, in the end, we’re family.
