Broken
Two meanings at the same time,
Is politician speak,
Like a zeugma there’s confusion,
Sometimes logic that is weak.
We truly want to trust them,
Believe they want the best,
But they turn their ideas ‘round,
And do not act at our behest.
We cannot trust mere humans,
With our souls or with our minds,
But must look for God’s hand,
So we do not travel blind.
