So many things are difficult,
We have decussate aims,
But no matter how we subdivide,
We are not all the same.
The things that are defining,
Are inside our human skin,
Kindness and true honesty,
Keep us from greater sin.
The love we show to others,
Grace in the face of hate,
God’s family united,
Is a better fate.
