Cloudy
What is it we’re looking for,
Something to ease our minds?
To make sense of the madness,
To hope that there is time?
We’re watching for a harbinger,
An omen or a sign,
That will reassure us,
All will be finally fine.
But, we have been told,
No one will know the day,
When heaven comes to earth,
And goodness has its say.
So we watch and pray,
That our faith will hold,
And looking back from future days,
We’ll see that we were bold.
