Wind and snow and ice,
When a cozy fireside,
Is close to paradise.

But what is even better,
Is to look ahead and smile,
To coming plashy April days,
Which will with warmth beguile.
Then in my daydream daze,
Flowers raise their heads,
And I know this frozen land,
Will become beautiful instead.
