Join
Sometimes it seems we’re all alone,
Slogging through this world of woe,
We want to be free to work and play,
More often, we just want to go.
No more rules, no more restrictions,
No more masks and separation,
Just real camaraderie of spirit,
And a feeling of elation.
But for now we set our minds,
On surviving one more day,
Praying for an intervention,
Which will finally ease our way.
