Objurgate ... Sad

Today’s word is “objurgate” ... on-jer-geyt ... to reproach or denounce vehemently; upbraid harshly; berate sharply. (Dictionary.com)

Sad
Is there now no one left,
Who’ll turn the other cheek?
Who knows the deeper meaning,
Of the power of the meek?

Objurgating warriors,
Throw their words like stones,
Not caring if their cruelty,
Cuts others to the bone.

One day in their reveries,
Loneliness will call,
As will the consequences,
Earned from the great fall.
