Of a bell, most forlorn.
Then from steeples high above
Common walks of concrete stone,
Comes sweet tintinnabulation,
Sounding, multiplying tones.
Soon the air is filled with joy,
Rung from steel with faithful hand,
Chiming harmony and freedom,
For the grateful in our land.
