Palabra ... Word

Today's word is "palabra" ... pah-LAH-vrah ... Spanish. A word. (dictionary.com)

If you speak no Spanish,
It would be wise of you,
Not to use "palabra"
When you're spoken to.

Or for that matter any other,
Words which are mysterious,
To people of a different kind,
Which might make them furious

At least take your dictionary,
(Bilingual would be best),
And speak most judiciously,
To prevent a wrongful jest.
