Flapdoodle

Today's word is "flapdoodle" ... FLAP-dood-l ... Informal. nonsense; bosh. (dictionary.com)

Humpty
Nursrey rhymes are often strange,
With oddities on every page.
Eggs that talk and songs of sheep,
Little blue boys fast asleep.

Girls and boys falling down a hill,
A shoe-worn woman, shouting shrill,
Rocking babies high in trees,
Gingerbread cookies running free.

I prefer the tales of old,
The elephant's child, much too bold,
Little piglet and Winnie-the-Pooh ...
All that flapdoodle. How 'bout you?
