Crumbs
Watching the moon slip
Behind clouds.
As night deepens. And hides.
Shadows overwhelm.
We know morning is only
A few hours away ...
And that it always comes.
But in this terrene place,
Where what is seen seems to be
Everything that is,
The darkness is complete.
The faith to believe in something better,
Comes on tiptoe.
It comes from watching impossible
Situations resolve. Through hope.
Through prayer.
Through unexpected miracles of love.
