So
Carried through the days,
On wings we cannot see,
We keep on asking, “Why?”
And question gravity.
Through no brilliance of our own,
Our bodies learn and grow,
We make our plans with gusto,
And say, ergo, we know.
But there are common mysteries,
That bypass our frail ways,
We ignore them at our peril,
For they will have their say.
