Waiting teaches patience,
At least that’s what they say,
But this tarriance is tortuous,
Day to day to day.
You hold your breath and hope.
The future totally unknown,
Weighted by confusion,
Unhappily alone.
Yet as time goes on,
All will be revealed,
The moments will solidify,
And once past they will be sealed.
