Pause
A modicum of common sense,
Would go a long, long way,
In this age of grasping,
At whatever people say.
The truth will always come about,
Though some rather it would not,
Because their power’s reliant,
On an intricate, bare plot.
Let’s take a breath and ponder,
What’s for the good of all,
Freedom depends on justice,
Else we all will fall.
