Sippet ... Move

Today’s word is “sippet” ... sip-it ... a small piece of bread or the like for dipping in liquid food, as in gravy or milk; a small sop. (Dictionary.com)

Move
When we’re done with every sippet,
Satiated beyond capacity,
Will we think of those less rich,
Compassionately, with pity?

Of course on this Thanksgiving day,
It’s obvious we’re blest,
But on every other day,
Do we even think about the rest?

Within our inner sanctums lie,
Possibilities unknown.
Visions which might satisfy,
If we make our way back home.
