Hippy
Once in the long ago,
I had some notions, wild,
About going with the flow,
And being nature’s child.
Bell bottoms were new,
Mustaches bloomed like flowers,
Paisley wove it’s way into,
Everything with flower power.
Posh were the things of England,
Far out our jeans and beads,
No tie or tails in this land,
There was not any need!
But now confused am I,
By scarves and yoga pants,
My fashion time’s gone by,
I’m trying not to rant!
