It is time for a gallinaceous feast,
Vegan or omnivorian sweet treats,
To celebrate our bounty which like yeast,
Has grown and swollen with richness repleat.
We often do not realize fortune’s hand,
Through which God blesses us, though undeserved,
Waked from ungrateful dream, we understand,
Our inheritance ... all within earth’s curve.
