Today's word is "ethos" ... EE-thos ...the character or disposition of a community, group, person, etc.
Group-think
What kind of ethos is it,
That makes excuses for,
The cruel ones who have not yet,
Made it to our door?
What will we ever learn from
Analysis mistaken,
Ignoring facts and warnings ...
Our rationality's been taken.
We need truth to rule the day,
And goodness here to win,
For God to reign right in us.
On him our hopes we'll pin.
