Cacography ... Chisel

Today's word is "cacography" ... (kuh-KOG-ruh-fee) ... Poor penmanship; bad handwriting. (Dictionary.com)

Chisel
Once Moses went upon the mount,
To see the face of God,
When he came back, he carried words,
Of which God was the fount.

The rules were clear. Ten in all,
Brought back on heavy stone.
They were not cacographical,
To cause us thus to fall.

The Isrealites were having fun.
No time for God's commands,
And thus their ruin and ours as well,
If we from his wisdom run.
