Step
Balancing on a knife edge,
Afraid to take a stand,
He vacillates with every breeze,
Where is it safe to land?
If he falls on one side,
The crowd there will cheer and wave,
If on the total opposite,
Those will say that he’s brave.
He fails to find the center,
That is true, within,
Which will balance everything,
When arguments are thin.
Found, courage will uphold him,
Love will make him bold,
The crowds will not disturb him,
As his own center holds.
