Shine
It’s hard to be perfect,
In this day and age,
Someone will remind you,
That you’re no sage.
You’ll make a faux pax,
In person, on line,
And ‘round you they’ll gather,
To accuse and opine.
Somehow from their perch,
High above normal folk,
Their perfection shines forth,
They say it’s no joke.
As long as righteousness,
Only comes from that place,
We’ll have to pray daily,
For any small grace.
