Dreams
As hard as we try to love,
we fail, and fail again.
What gets in our way?
Prejudice, selfishness, laziness?
All of those and more. Our actions are
often bent to our own devices ...
Nocent motives though, become apparent,
soon or late.
Still we try. And that is the better way ...
perfection may not be attainable,
yet our good deeds shine with
unfulfilled desire.
