Today’s word is “coleopteron” ... koh-lee-op-ter-uh n ... a coleopterous insect; beetle. (Dictionary.com)
Buggy
If you were of the Coleoptera,
You’d never feel alone,
390,000 species,
Call this earth their home.
There are ladybugs with dots,
Cowboys and long-nose weevils
Beatles checkered and the darkling,
The rhinoceros (who is not evil).
The list of course goes on and on,
What kind of planet is this,
Where even a plethora of insects,
Is by a madcap maker kissed?
