Charge
Here we go again,
Rushing pell-mell
into the holidays.
All the plans are in
motion; where to go,
who to visit, what to eat,
when to leave. Rushing
head-long, arms and legs
flailing, brains failing, emotions
all on the edge of sanity.
(We're celebrating. Something.
Or was it. Someone ... I can't
quite remember ... Oh well.)
Get the kids. Hit the mall.
Buy the groceries. Do what
must be done. Oh yeah,
Merry ...
