Spy
As much as we would like to see,
What lies around the bend,
It's surely true that we cannot,
No matter how our paths may wend,
Through seance or divinination,
Or stranger, Alphitomancy,
Throwing bones or reading cards,
We'll not find out what is to be.
A better way is to live and learn,
Read and search and pray,
That in every moment, every turn,
We'll discover God's own way.
