Vexatious

Today's word is "vexatious" ... To cause vexation: troublesome; annoying.

Bumps
Stumbling blocks are everywhere,
In the road that appeared so fair,
Making our paths bend and wind,
Causing us new ways to find.

This is vexatious, don't you think?
As each new problem forms a link,
That makes a chain hard and unbending,
And seems to be most never ending.

But if we look with upmost care,
At each circumstance in which we're snared,
And use our faith to take the test,
We might find an unsuspected guest.

For tucked inside frustrations wild,
Are insight's lights that might beguile,
If we allow them to break in,
And change all of our might-have-beens.
