Control
In the blink of an open eye,
Our nescience is revealed,
A small blunder here or there,
And our fate is sealed.
Contemplate and wait,
Do not speak until you’ve thought,
Do not move into a trap,
Until every solution’s sought.
It seems so simple doesn’t it?
Yet we’re impulsive actors,
And it seems we’re willful,
Blinded to obvious factors.
