Today’s word is “confabulate” ... to converse informally; chat. (Dictionary.com)
Coming
They were confabulating,
They were confabulating,
High in an old oak tree,
Sitting on their acorns,
Feeling fat and free.
Below them snow was melting,
Watering the ground,
Preparing with the sunshine,
For flowers to be found.
A few more chilly weeks,
‘Til we can go outside,
Walking happily where we will,
Roaming far and wide.
