Today’s word is “discommode” ... to cause inconvenience to; disturb, trouble, or bother. (Dictionary.com)

Mutate

There’s something about this virus,

That would discommode a saint,

We’d like to bear it bravely,

Without anger or complaint,

But everything has changed,

And we are most confused,

Not sure if what we’re told is true,

Or if we’re being used.

We pray for a return,

To lives we used to know,

When we could laugh and play,

And go where we’d want to go.

But patience now and courage,

To do the best we can,

With kindness and with gentleness,

‘Til the world is whole again.
