Ad hominem

Today's word is "ad hominem" ... Attacking an opponent's character rather than answering his argument.

Watch the talking heads,

Argue their points of view,

One puts forth truth,

The other is askew.

He makes his attacks ad hominem,

Caring not for facts,

Only that he looks alright,

While he does his act.

But it's not hard to understand,

The tricks that are in play,

Just watch the thinking closely,

Not just what they say.
