Wandering through the town,
taking in all the sights and sounds and smells,
of this new place.
Checking out attractions.
Hoping to see everything at once.
But, we are abecedarians by
local standards. Turning the
map. This way and that. Unsure.
Not wanting to appear foolish.
And then, kind strangers come to
the rescue. And away we go:
to the falls, to the museum,
to the famous restaurant.
Pleased to be back
on the right road.
