Vittate

Today's word is "vittate" ... A band or stripe of color. (Zoology)

Mmmmm

If we could junggeled journeys take,

Through vittate forms we would make,

Our way as animals with strange calls,
Might find us wishing we had walls.

Once we found our way back home,
We'd promise never more to roam,
Where wild creatures could, on just a hunch,
Decide to have us all for lunch.
