Scherzo

Today's word is "scherzo" ... a movement or passage of light or playful character, especially as the second or third movement of a sonata or a symphony. (Dictionary.com)

Song
Cardinals, sparrows, and juncos, oh my!
On the ground and over the feeder they fly,
To a scherzo they're dancing around and about,
A ballet with steps that are never in doubt.

We watch with joy, in fascination,
And await the next move with anticipation.
Color and motion create unique art,
We're grateful just to observe as our part.
