Today’s word is “propinquity” ... nearness in place; proximity. (Dictionary.com)
Petals
Right outside my door,
Colorful tulips bloom,
This wonderful propinquity,
Allows beauty in this room.
Purple, red and yellow,
They peer above the vase,
Coaxing happy looks,
On every entering face.
Such moments are too few,
Fragile and unrequited,
But each spring they come again,
And we are reunited.
