Slip
When you least expect it,
Comes mirabilia to amaze,
We were watching for a dark cloud,
When the sun blinded our gaze.
Relief caused smiles and laughter,
Surprise has changed our day,
The grace that falls like rain,
Says sorrow is delayed.
Sometimes we forget,
There are views from mountains high,
Where we see beyond ourselves,
With a long and joyful sigh.
