Free
And God made us all,
In his image, as he stated,
Reflecting his great glory,
From a realm where souls are sated.
We too have made attempts,
In this time where we are found,
To be egalitarian,
And believe our thinking sound.
But we can not legislate,
How one will use this gift,
And our helping hand,
May cause the plot to shift.
Circumstances, times and places,
Rulers, kings and thrones,
Plagues and revolutions,
Keep us from this equal home.
So let us keep each other,
No matter skin or creed,
In careful, kind regard,
Respecting every human need.
