Polysemy ... Many

Today’s word is “polysemy” ... pol-ee-see-mee ... a condition in which a single word, phrase, or concept has more than one meaning or connotation. (Dictionary.com)

Many
Sometimes a mouse will scamper,
Sometimes it has a cord,
The same word polysemous,
Has many meanings stored.

All of us inside our skins,
Are different yet the same,
Facets of a graceful God,
Who creates without restraint.
