Debate
When we need aggiornamento,
For this one thing or that,
A committee must be formed,
To put ideas in a hat.
Then we pull one out of there,
And let debate begin,
The one with strongest arguments,
Should be the one that wins.
That’s the best that we can do,
Compromises must be made,
And we’ll one step forward, one step back,
Until the piper’s paid.
