Today's word is "tyro" ... TAHY-roh ... a beginner in learning anything; novice.
Start
It's so very difficult,
The beginning of all things,
When the end result,
Mystifys what talent brings.
You, tyro sit expectantly,
By the master' side,
Hoping to excel at once,
Then losing all your pride.
Watching, it seems simple,
Put your fingers on the keys,
Your feet into the slippers,
Play or dance, you're sure to please.
But the sounds are jumbled,
Your body won't comply,
So practice, practice, practice,
One day you'll simply fly.
